AYŞAN ÇELIKAssociate Artist Aysan has performed Off-Broadway in: The Black Eyed (New York Theater Workshop), The Civilians' Paris Commune (NYSF/The Public Lab), Target Margin's Faust (Classic Stage Company), Red Bull's Pericles (Culture Project), and The Acting Company's Turn of the Screw, Murder By Poe, Richard III, and Two Gentlemen of Verona (Theater Row). Her Off-Off Broadway work includes: Twelfth Night (The Queen's Company), LightBox's Milk-n-Honey (3-Legged Dog), Attempts On Her Life (SoHo Rep), The Belle's Stratagem (Prospect Theater), Phoenician Women (Synapse Productions) and Canard, Canard, Goose? (The Civilians). Regional highlights: The Civilians' This Beautiful City (Studio Theater - Helen Hayes Nomination Best Ensemble, Resident Musical), 9 Parts of Desire (Actors Theater of Louisville), The Civilians' Paris Commune (La Jolla Playhouse), Diary of A Young Girl - a solo presented by the Carr Foundation at the dedication of the Anne Frank Center for Human Rights in Boise, the title role in Antigone (American Repertory Theater), and two national tours with The Acting Company. Aysan costars in the comedy feature Capers with Danny Masterson, which is currently in festivals (capersthemovie.com). She trained at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and the ART Institute at Harvard. Aysan is a member of The Civilians, LightBox, and a founding member of Theater Mitu.
