Alex Hawthorn is an artist, composer, and technologist based in Los Angeles and Brooklyn who investigates notions of archive, memory, and time through both solo and collaborative works of performance, installation, and fixed media, combining elements of electronic synthesis, field recordings, photography, videography, digital media, sculpture, and assemblage. Their work in theatrical sound design has garnered them an Obie award, LA Ovation Awards, and has been heard across North and South America, Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
