Monica Sanborn is a Canadian born artist based in Brooklyn. Her work explores the performativity of the body as a living archive and its relationship to time. Informed by art theory, mythology, psychoanalysis, and somatic research, Monica’s artistic practice includes performance, writing, video, technology, music, and film-making. She is an alum of Theater Mitu’s South India Artist Intensive and was an apprentice with the company for two years.
